Payment Information: Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, including Stripe. TaskNuts does not store complete credit card numbers. Payment processors maintain their own privacy and security policies.

Communications: We collect communications occurring through the Platform, including in-app messages, AI-assisted conversations, support requests, emails, SMS messages, temporary masked communications, attachments, photos, and voice communications where applicable.

Device Information: We may automatically collect IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, mobile device information, crash reports, and log files.

Usage Information: We may collect pages viewed, features used, search activity, job history, ratings, reviews, and time spent using the Platform.

Create and manage accounts; match customers with contractors; process payments; operate the marketplace; verify identities; prevent fraud; improve platform performance; provide customer support; generate AI-assisted communications; analyze marketplace activity; improve contractor recommendations; develop new products and features; comply with legal obligations; and enforce our agreements.

TaskNuts uses artificial intelligence to assist with marketplace operations.

AI may help: summarize repair requests; facilitate communications; answer questions; recommend contractors; analyze photographs; identify maintenance issues; generate notifications; and improve customer support.

AI-generated information is intended to assist users and should not be considered professional legal, engineering, architectural, financial, or safety advice.

We may share information with:

Contractors: To complete requested services, we may share information including property address, job description, photos, scheduling information, and customer communications relevant to the project.

Customers: Customers may receive information regarding contractors, including business name, public profile, ratings, insurance verification status, licensing status (where applicable), and marketplace reputation information.

Service Providers: We may share information with trusted providers including Stripe, identity verification providers, background check providers, cloud hosting providers, mapping services, communication providers, AI service providers, analytics providers, and customer support providers. These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform services on our behalf.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose information when required by law or when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations; protect users; investigate fraud; enforce our Terms of Service; or protect the rights or safety of TaskNuts.

The Platform may use push notifications, email, SMS, in-app messaging, AI-assisted messaging, and temporary masked communications.

You consent to receiving communications related to your account and marketplace activity.

You may opt out of promotional communications, but you may continue receiving transactional or legally required communications.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences; authenticate users; improve security; analyze traffic; personalize content; and improve platform performance.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
